Priyam Paul

Senior Analyst, Specialized Care - Data Management Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI)

As a Senior Analyst in the Data Management department within the Specialized Care branch at CIHI, Priyam works on operational activities related to development, programming, reporting, data analysis, the Integrated interRai Reporting System (IRRS) and consultation on IRRS-related projects such as the development of new reporting tools. He is also involved in helping jurisdictions across Canada understand how IRRS works from a technical and data submissions perspective, so they are better prepared to adopt the new system. He has a background in agile project management, data analytics, health informatics, public health and programming. He has used his experience to work on and improve the collection and reporting infrastructure of healthcare data at various levels in the healthcare system within Ontario and now across Canada.

Anne Myron

Team Lead, Quality and Innovation Unit, Strategic Initiatives Branch, MOLTC

Anne Myron has been the Team Lead of the Quality and Innovation Unit in the Strategic Initiatives Branch at the Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC) since February. She’s worked in long-term care policy since 2021, where she helped lead the development of the quarterly staffing survey and, among other things, supported regulatory changes that updated staffing requirements to increase flexibility, better reflect residents’ needs, and address workforce shortages. Prior to joining MLTC, Anne worked at Alberta Health Services on improving access and wait times to healthcare services, and before that in quality improvement roles at various hospitals in Ontario.

Abonti Mukherjee

Senior Financial Policy Advisor, Financial Policies and Procedures Unit, MOLTC

Abonti Mukherjee joined the Funding and Programs Branch at the Ministry of Long-Term Care in 2021. Since then, she has worked closely on the LTC Rate Reduction Program which helps subsidize the cost of long-term care for low-income seniors, as well as other initiatives to support long-term care residents.

Melissa Norman

Manager, Quality Improvement and RAI, The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre

Melissa Norman is the Director of Quality and Interprofessional Care at Perley Health, a community of care in Ottawa Ontario, that is home to more than 600 Seniors and Veterans in long-term care and in independent apartments. For the last 15 years, Melissa has held a variety of professional and leadership roles at Perley Health, all of which focused on quality improvement, risk and performance management and operational excellence. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa. Melissa has completed several certifications and advanced training programs, including LEAN green belt certification, IDEAS Advanced Training Program in Quality Improvement, and Specialist Knowledge Translation Training.

Mark Schroter

Mark is the team lead of the Financial Policies and Procedures Unit in the Funding and Programs Branch at MLTC.  He has worked in the Ontario Public Service for ten years, with previous roles at Treasury Board Secretariat and the Ministry of Health.

Anne Ahmadloo

Anne Ahmadloo is a Business and Fiscal planning Lead with the Ministry of Long-Term Care. She is a CPA/CGA professional with over 15 years of health care experience. She leads Ministry’s Annual Reconciliation team. Her role encompasses managing the Overall Reconciliations, Subsidy Calculation, Annual Report templates as well as developing Cash flow report that facilitate reconciliation for all Long-Term Care homes. She provides ongoing training to staff members and serves as a central point of contact for inquires and questions from homes, staff, and internal ministry stakeholders.

Nerissa Sarawan

Financial Policy Analyst, Financial Policies and Procedures Unit, MOLTC

Nerissa Sarawan is a Financial Policy Analyst within the Funding and Programs Branch at the Ministry of Long-Term Care. Nerissa has been a Financial Policy Analyst within the Funding and Programs Branch for two years where she has worked on various files related to operational funding, including resident co-payments and the LTC Rate Reduction Program. Prior to this, she worked as a Project Coordinator within the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s Deputy Minister’s Office. She received her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Kelly Mireault

Divisional Controller, Health and Emergency Services, The Corporation of the County of Simcoe

Kelly has worked with the County of Simcoe for six years as part of the Health & Emergency Services Finance team, recently taking on the title of Divisional Controller. She is a CPA, CA and has worked as a regulator for public companies and starting at an audit firm. The County of Simcoe operates four long-term care homes along with other housing models for seniors. Kelly has prepared, and is now responsible for, the financial filings required by the Ministry of Long-Term Care for the homes.
